Why We Do Not Provide PSD as a Standard

As a standard practice, we do not provide PSD (Particle Size Distribution) data for most of our products. In most cases, the focus is on the average particle size, performance, and the cost-effectiveness of the products rather than the complete distribution or detailed technical specifications.

Also, determining PSD is a complex and costly process. Factors such as the presence of agglomerates or clusters can result in biased results with traditional methods. To ensure reliable PSD data, the following steps must be undertaken:

• Employ a rigorous de-agglomeration protocol.
• Manually analyze several hundred particles.
• Present the resulting data in a comprehensive graphical format.

These procedures are highly time-intensive and labor-intensive. Given our catalog of over 2,000 references, providing PSD data systematically for each product would significantly increase costs, which would impact our pricing.

Custom PSD Analysis Available

While PSD data is not standard, we recognize that such analyses may be essential for meeting specific regulatory or technical requirements. Upon request, we offer PSD analysis for the batch received by the client. This includes D10, D50, and D90 values, ensuring precise and reliable results tailored to your needs.
