Shipping and Pricing Terms

  • Shipping Origin: By default, all shipments are made from Marseille, France.
  • Pricing Terms: All prices and/or quotations listed or received from Oocap SAS, including online prices, are FCA Marseille, France, under Incoterms® 2020, unless otherwise specified in writing.

Taxes, Fees, and Duties

International buyers are responsible for covering all customs duties, taxes, and related fees imposed by governmental authorities in the destination country. This includes sales taxes, excise taxes, duties, customs fees, inspection/testing fees, or any other charges.

  • Customs Clearance: Any customs clearance or import duties levied on goods by the customs authorities of the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
  • Exemptions: If you qualify for exemptions from taxes or duties, please provide the appropriate exemption certificate or documentation to the relevant authority at the time of order submission.
  • Permits and Licenses: Buyers are responsible for obtaining any permits, licenses, or documentation required for import, export, or transit.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

VAT applicability depends on your location and circumstances:

  1. Customers Based in France:
    • Standard VAT will be applied to all purchases, as per local regulations.
  2. Customers in the EU (Outside France) with a Valid VAT ID:
    • When both the shipping and destination countries are within the EU, and the consignee has provided a valid VAT ID, the sale is treated as an intra-community supply and is exempt from VAT at the point of sale.
    • Customers may need to file a reverse charge VAT declaration in accordance with Article 196 of EU Council Directive 2006/112/EC.
    • If a VAT ID is not provided or is invalid, VAT will be applied based on the applicable regulations, which may involve VAT from the shipping country (France) or the destination country, depending on the scenario.
  3. International Customers (Outside the EU):
    • VAT does not apply, and no VAT will be charged on purchases.
