GetNano: Bringing Order to the Nanoworld
GetNano is more than a supplier. It is the infrastructure layer beneath the nanomaterials market. Our mission is to organize and structure an industry that has long suffered from fragmentation, inconsistent specifications, and a lack of transparency. With GetNano, engineers, scientists, and industry professionals can finally access the materials they need with clarity, precision, and confidence.
Our Story
GetNano began as a manufacturer. Since 2010, we have produced and distributed nanomaterials under our in-house label, the GTN Series, with a focus on quality, consistency, and scientific rigor. Originally focused on a narrow range of highly specialized nanomaterials, we became a trusted supplier in the research and advanced materials community.
In 2020, recognizing the growing complexity and fragmentation of the nanomaterials market, we entered a second phase: systemic expansion. We began integrating select certified contract manufacturing partners into our framework through series identifiers (GTN, SOM, SON, etc.), each representing a validated production line with standardized specifications. Learn more about our Series.
This evolution serves two core purposes: first, it allows us to multiply sourcing channels while maintaining full control over quality and traceability; second, it expands our catalog in a way that enables precise matching with specific application needs—something we could never have achieved alone.
The catalog is designed to grow continuously, as we onboard new series that meet our technical standards and have earned positive feedback from real clients. Every addition is curated, validated, and documented, ensuring a consistent customer experience while broadening the range of available solutions.

What Makes Us Different
Series Logic = Controlled Diversity
Every product belongs to a distinct "series"—GTN (GetNano), SOM (Somaterials), SON (SoNano), etc.—representing different production lines, with consistent formatting and documentation.
Client-Facing, Technically Grounded
Need help choosing? Our Products & Applications Desk assists with use-case matching, scaling scenarios, and technical clarification.
Custom Manufacturing Options
Need a custom size, purity, or treatment? Our equipment can be adjusted to meet virtually any D50 or PSD requirement, allowing us to support a broad range of materials. As of today, this flexibility has allowed us to build a catalog with over 2,000 references. We expect to exceed 5,000 products by the end of 2026.
Analytical Services On Demand
We can arrange advanced analytical testing to support your application or compliance requirements:
Chemical composition: ICP (ppm/ppb), XRF
Crystallography: XRD
Microscopy: SEM, TEM
Particle Size Distribution: DLS (spherical microparticles), manual SEM/TEM count (nanoparticles)
Magnetic Properties: VSM, SQUID
Other tests and measurements available upon request include BET surface area, zeta potential, thermal analysis (TGA, DSC), UV-Vis, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, electrical conductivity, surface energy, and more.

Ongoing Strategic Developments
Localized & Transparent under development All pricing is localized (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.), and shipping is regionally optimized to reduce costs and delivery times.
Standardized Documentation under development All technical documents — including COA, SDS, and specifications — are being unified under a consistent format to ensure clarity and traceability across all series and sources.
Extensive Knowledge Base under development Our upcoming GetNano Docs platform is designed to help clients navigate the material landscape from both directions — from applications to suitable materials, and from materials to their practical uses.
Materials to Applications: Understand which applications are feasible based on the specs of a given material.
Applications to Materials: Browse suitable candidate materials for a given use case — perfect for starting new projects or trialing before scaling.
In addition, the GetNano Docs KB will host detailed articles on common nanomaterials topics: particle size, manufacturing techniques, dispersion issues, microscopy interpretation, regulatory points, and more. This will become an open, high-value resource for engineers, scientists, and purchasing teams.
AI-Powered PSD Project for Nanoparticles under development Reliable PSD data for nanopowders is notoriously hard to obtain. Traditional tools (like DLS or nano-sizers) often yield distorted results due to polydispersity, agglomeration, and the fact that even when particles exhibit a generally spherical morphology, subtle nanoscale irregularities such as slightly deformed contours, elliptical deviations, or non-uniform surfaces can significantly affect light scattering behavior in DLS measurements — frequently inflating D-values.
The gold standard is still a rigorous dispersion protocol followed by manual counting of 500–1,000 particles via SEM/TEM — but this is too time-consuming to scale across a large catalog.
The good news: our teams are developing an AI-based image analysis engine that will extract clean, accurate PSDs from multiple microscopy images per product — making it possible to scale this gold standard method across our extensive catalog.
This will be a first on the market — and a game-changer for clients who rely on PSD for quality control, performance benchmarking, or compliance. We're genuinely excited about this upcoming feature and its potential impact across industries and research labs alike. Stay tuned!
Who We Serve We support both industrial buyers and academic researchers, from gram-scale testing to industrial-scale procurement. Researchers innovate. Industry scales. We connect both through precision materials.
